Background:
The events in this story actually happened, but I wrote it as a fiction story because it’s boring as a non-fiction story. The teacher and principal names were changed for the story for personal reasons. I hope you like my tale.
Picture this, it’s midday on a warm day in April. You’re in middle school, and you’re outside with your class to test something for your robotics class. The teacher, Mr. Demens, a stern heavy-set man with short brown hair, early 40s, and a gentle voice which didn’t match his appearance at all. Mr. Demens was throwing something into the air to see how far it went. To this day, you can’t remember what the object was, it baffles you can’t recall.
Mr. Demens finishes his little throwing activity and lets you and the rest of the class stay out for a while; this was an excellent opportunity to speak with your classmates. As you spoke to your friends, you notice the vice principal, Mr. Westee, approach Mr. Demens. He too was a stern, average build and height, late 30s to early 40s, jet black hair. You were on good terms with the principal, but his demeanor freighted you. Mr. Westee chatted with Mr. Demens for a few minutes. You wonder who he’s out here to see, and it doesn’t bother you to know because you’re on good terms with all the school staff. Even though you’re on good terms, the school employees must do their job, and so they did. Out of the blue, you hear Mr. Westee call your name. Your body froze, and all you could do is move your neck to make eye contact with Mr. Westee. You approach Mr. Westee with a disturbed facial expression; he doesn’t like what’s he doing, but it’s his job. He tells you to follow him, and you walk to a secluded part of the gym hallway to speak, and that’s where he pops the big question.
“A group of students told me you had a knife.”
With your head spinning, and heart pounding a mile a minute, you keep your cool and explain to him you don’t have a knife. It shocks you to believe a group of students would accuse you of carrying a weapon to school. You understand you’re not the most popular kid in school, and your attitude makes it easy for others to blame you because they know you won’t defend yourself. Mr. Westee believes you, but wants to check your pants to make sure. You take off your pants as…
