Pandemonium

My head is below the water

From the world’s mass insecurities,

Aiming to ignore

Keep pursuing demented dreams,

For a chance

For a chance

To become my desires and fantasies

Sinking feeling submerges

With our species strikes,

For an off day

No off days for malice

I see

My head entering wondrous water

Where I wouldn’t say I like it inhabit

Waves consume

Living fearful resumes,

No longer

No longer

Should I heave maelstroms

When caught in the whirlpool

Where my body ascends,

As the world

The world

Prepares my descent

Thank you for reading. This poem is part of my new lyrical poem book, Dystopia.
