I understand what you mean. Many cartoons or animations underestimate what children can grasp. I like, for example, how Nickelodeon's The Loud House deals with heavy plotlines. It isn't afraid to show kids the hardships of adolescence. I could see Nickelodeon making the time travel show a reality. Or maybe Cartoon Network or Cookie Jar (what's now Dic Entertainment.)
