In 2019, when I learned Disney created a streaming service, my inner fan-girl (I didn’t misspell); awakened. Now I can watch all my favorite Disney cartoons and movies without buying them on Blu-ray/DVD or searching for them on an illegal website.
What a terrific compromise.
For the past two years, I’ve been watching nothing but ’90s, and early ’00s Disney cartoons, as those were the cartoons I grew up watching on Toon Disney (now Disney XD).
After my two-year binge, I found it wise to put together the five cartoons you can watch on Disney+. They make the perfect substitute for the superhero TV shows Disney keeps turning out.
The cartoons are from the ’90s, as it’s the period Disney produced the best-animated TV series, and the ones I grew up with.
